In 2007 we had the opportunity to reflect on 125 years of formal schooling at Mount Crosby. Each generation has created and met its own particular challenges and passed to the next a solid basis for continuous improvement towards our quasquicentennial. From quaint beginnings, perhaps not as attractive as that term implies, our sequence of three very different schools has reflected Mount Crosby's change from a marginal agricultural and timber-getting district to an industrious company town at the forefront of water supply, and more latterly to a popular residential community at the fringe of Brisbane.
