You can make a direct donationThe P&C has established a school building fund which has DGR status. This means donations are tax deductible and a receipt will be provided that meets the ATO's requirements.
Donate to our DGR for our school before the end of the financial year and gain a tax refund.
The P&C is calling for families of Mount Crosby State School and the wider community to help raise funds to support building projects around our school. The P&C is currently aiming to generate funds and/or target grants to build a new OSHC facility. Please be aware that these funds can only be used for building works around the school.
You can donate by
cash/cheque to the P&C using a special envelope available from the school office;
direct deposit to BSB 638-010 account 10523286. Please provide your full name as a reference. If a parent/carer of a Mt Crosby State School student, please also include your child's class. Once your donation has been sent please notify the P&C at pandc@mtcrosbyss.eq.edu.au that you have made a donation so that we can provide you with a receipt.
You can also......
Support the P&C indirectly. Volunteering with the P&C or donating requested goods helps keep costs down. Every little bit you do helps. You can always assist in the tuckshop or by attending working bees and also supporting other fundraising initiatives such as the markets and school discos.
Forecast hall usage – if you are currently involved in any local sporting/community groups please approach your committee to ask them to consider using our hall. We are keen to engage with local groups and maximise hall usage.
Mt Crosby Parent and Community Engagement Committee
In 2015 the Mt Crosby State School Parent and Community Engagement Committee was formed. This committee is made up of deputy principal, parents, teachers, chaplain and community members. The aim of the committee is to foster productive partnerships across both the school and wider community.
Some of the areas the committee has been involved in are:

Establishment of school Facebook page

The committee welcomes any new community members who would like to take an active roll on the committee. The committee meet twice a term on a Monday night at 6.30pm.
